EVER CHANGING WORLD I GLACIER RIVERS

Seen from the ground, the kilometers of coastal plains look absolutely inconspicuous. Seen from the air, the rivers enriched with minerals by the glaciers are forming abstract structures as they make their way through the black sand to the ocean. If the from the glacier crushed sediment, also known as rock flour, mixes with the melting water it can create blue, brown, gray or green colors. These colors and patterns are constantly changing with the weather. Due to the high amount of rainfall in the weeks prior to this shooting the glacier rivers contained more brown colors and bluish areas were somehow more rare. If you look closely you can see the fine structure of the water surface.
